I have a question that I hope you can answer for me. With all the free sewing pdfs out there, I often need to change the size of a pattern to fit my own needs. When I reduce or enlarge a pattern that has the seam allowances drawn in, it seems to also change the size of the seam allowances. Should I go by the size of the seam allowances on the original size? Or should I go by the size of the seam allowances shown on the new adjusted size? I'm sorry to sound so confusing. Usually the patterns don't have the seam allowances drawn in, but when they are drawn on the pattern, then the seam allowance sizes do seem to change when you reduce or enlarge the pattern.

LynneAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5805596846400615819.post-60382624816369550442010-07-23T14:45:15.090-07:002010-07-23T14:45:15.090-07:00That is so precious! I found that preemie hat pattern here - http://groceryshrink.typepad.com/the_grocery_shrink_blog/2009/07/preemie-knotted-hat-pattern-download.html

It says it's intended for 4-7lb babies. Did you make yours bigger? Or do you think it will fit a full term 0-3 month baby as is?

I just love your blog!triciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01800298044342260300noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5805596846400615819.post-44972361904040687322010-06-28T05:44:21.263-07:002010-06-28T05:44:21.263-07:00You are so welcome!
